Nancy Sutcliffe (1957-2025) was a noted contemporary glass engraver based in the UK, working with a style characterised by precision and an innovative use of gold leaf on sculptures, vessels and verre églomisé panels (reverse painted and gilded layered glass).

Nancy died in September 2025 after a short, vicious, pointless illness. This website will be maintained in her memory, demonstrating by her work the extent of our loss.

Some pieces will also be available for sale, along with high-quality greetings cards and framable giclée prints of some of her work (these are based on Nancy’s designs and her own excellent photography).

All profits will be passed on to Cancer Research UK in an attempt to help counter the evil, senseless disease that has taken her from us. If you would like to contribute to the fundraiser, her family has set up a JustGiving page for donations to Cancer Research in her memory.
